Easiest Ever Crockpot Roast

my absolute go-to for when friends are sick, just had a baby, or we’re in need of an easy, but hearty meal!

Who doesn’t love a delicious, home-cooked meal? It’s even better when it’s the easiest thing to toss into the crockpot and let it cook for a few hours. This is one of our family’s favorite dinner recipes, and it only takes about 5 minutes of hands-on prep time. I often make this meal for friends who just had a new baby or who have been sick. Looking for more of our family faves? You can find some at this highlight over on Instagram!

Ingredients:

-Chuck Roast (sub for pork loin roast in the summer for a lighter flavor)

-1 LB Yukon gold potatoes

-A bag of Baby carrots

-Stick of butter (salted preferred)

-Au jus gravy packet

-Ranch seasoning packet

1) Toss veggies in the crockpot and sprinkle with half of each seasoning packet.

2) Throw in the roast and season both sides with the remaining seasoning.

3) Slap a stick of butter on top and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours (low and slow is the yummiest though)!

You can always customize this meal even further by adding some of your favorites, like mushrooms! We like to bake some French bread or crescent rolls for a side! Grab those take + toss metal pans from the store so your friend doesn’t have to worry about cleanup or getting the dish back to you and voila! You’re little Susie Homemaker :)

Let me know how it turns out!
